DID YOU KNOW?
Formed after the demise of Gossard and Ament's previous bands, Green River and Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam broke into the mainstream with their debut album, Ten, in 1991. Ten stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for nearly five years, and has gone on to become one of the highest-selling rock records ever, going 13× Platinum in the United States. Released in 1993, Pearl Jam's second album, Vs., sold over 950,000 copies in its first week of release, setting the record for most copies of an album sold in its first week of release at the time. Their third album, Vitalogy (1994), became the second-fastest-selling CD in history at the time, with more than 877,000 units sold in its first week.
One of the key bands in the grunge movement of the early 1990s, Pearl Jam's members often shunned popular music industry practices such as making music videos or participating in interviews. The band had also sued Ticketmaster, claiming it had monopolized the concert-ticket market. In 2006, Rolling Stone described the band as having "spent much of the past decade deliberately tearing apart their own fame".
Pearl Jam had sold more than 85 million albums worldwide by 2018, including nearly 32 million albums in the United States by 2012,[4] making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. Pearl Jam was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 in its first year of eligibility.[5] They were ranked eighth in a readers' poll by Rolling Stone magazine in its "Top Ten Live Acts of All Time" issue.

70 YEARS of The Fender Stratocaster!
You made a lot of us very happy ^^
When your boss gives you a present like this and says thank you, you know you do your job right
I haven't seen a pic of vedder in years & thought f#kc me he's changed alot ha ha f#kcing hell man outstanding
It was Hank Garland and Billy Byrd..not Charlie Byrd. Charlie Byrd was a nylon string player.. Have a nice day.
Played that "My Prince Will Come" Lage intro fucking note for note.. Then just like Jimmy Bruno playing "Donna".. Not to mention those hot Chet/Emmanuel licks.. Litta' fun..
I mean it's a work of art
Hey guys this is Pat the singer. Just wanted to say thank you for the compliments on this video and the GnR videos as well. If any of you southsiders care to check out my band Hazard, we will be performing at 115 Bourbon street Saturday May 25th. We play a lot of 90’s grunge but mix in some heavier stuff like Metallica, GNR. We Do some audioslave as well as Van Halen, we’re kind of all over the place. Hell you may even hear Tennessee whiskey lol
I will never buy a PRS guitar because of Paul. He's such an arrogant douche.
The solo section needs to be 6 min longer. Great job guys!
this video auto played and I hate everything about it - I hate these collector types with obsessive expendable income. Barf
This company is investing a lot of money to convince you that this thing sounds good. It doesn't.
Bass drum should be louder and punchers
You guys all nailed! Love it!
Me: “I’ve gotta hear this again…to make sure I didn’t dream this!!!!” 👍🏼
Corgan's hands are huge!!! Dude is like a one man gangbang.
acquiesce by oasis at the start?
Awesome as always.
I’m glad you found this singer. This took the band up to 100%
Damm you guys Killed it!! Great work Pat!
bass player is rushing like crazy. Playing to the beat of his own drummer
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Goose bumps!!! ❤❤❤
Amazing!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Proper guitar wank fest. Oooo…. What does that sound like? (Looking at Tele) …it sounds like a fuckin’ tele
this made me an oasis fan.
Fuck yeah!!!!!
More of this gentleman on vocals please!😊👌👍🤘
Fcuk yeah! 🤘
I enjoy these FBF videos so much. Just awesome!! Big thanks to the team of professionals at CME :)
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Outstanding!
Well there are scientific videos regarding this topic (I especially like Jim Lill) and Paul is just like "I just know what I'm talking about, you gotta believe me". 6:55 is the perfect example of how not to make a good point. What is her reference in this whole experiment?
A collector is just a hoarder with a purpose
This guy can do Eddie AND Axl? That's range!
Thank you sir.
Wow! Great job all. The lead vocals really put this over the top. 10/10
Sounds nothing like Vedder. Drop the Hurrr...Durrr vocal style, and use your natural singing voice. You just sound like a cheap parody, or worse ... like Scott Stapp doing a poor man's cover of Pearl Jam. Otherwise, guitars sound kind of close.
Sorry to disapoinr you, you are correct, im not Eddie Vedder, however i do sing about 50 percent pearl Jam, the other 50 percent is a mixture of all kinds of other artists from alice in chains to gnr foo fighters metallica dave matthews van halen etc etc in my cover band Hazard and we have a solid followimg of about 300 people on average, and the fan favorites happen to be our pearl jam so im just gonna sinf it like i sing it and let people like you try to tell me how to sing. BTW do you have any videos of you singing i can critique?
And sorry about the type-o’s typing in a rush
You don't have to be Eddie Vedder and I've heard you sing others and sound good with your natural voice. The band sounds great and you have a great voice. I just don't get the whole Hurr-Durr style vocal tic that so many who try to cover Vedder or Pearl Jam feel they have to do. Don't get me wrong, you guys do a great cover of this...but I think the song would be better served if you sang it in your own style rather than employ the whole perceived Vedderisim vocal approach.
Sorry bro been singing Vedder like this for 30 years now, and a lot of others like it. I get a guy like you here and there that says stuff like this, it is what it is I like it, and I like singing it this way. I Think I will continue to do so
Whole band kills it, but this singer is something else. Axl and now Eddie. Can you try a FNM song?
Thank you appreciate that sir.
Nailed it. I played this song solo for my 7th grade talent show :D
Oh it's got bound F holes alright
Sounds great! Nice job! Vocals nailed it too!
Damn - another solid vocal performance by this dude!! Axl Rose and now Eddie Vedder?? Very nice. Band was solid as usual. Great job all!!
Man, the vocals were too much like a parody of Eddie for me to get into.
I do my best to sound as close to the artist as I’m singing, I tried sorry to disappoint you
@@Opening-bruh I get it. I've seen from other videos that you're a good singer. I think it'd sound better if you just used your natural singing voice, but that's just one mans opinion. If you did that, I'm sure others would complain that you sound nothing like Eddie, so you can't please everyone. 🤷♂️
very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
You guys knock it put of the park every week. So many talented folks.
Thank you! Much appreciated! 🤘 🤘
THANKS FOR WATCHING!! SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE CHICAGO MUSIC EXCHANGE!! NEW VIDEOS EVERY WEEK!!
🎵r0ck0n 🎵
Amazing! We try to play as good as PJ
Way too many "F bombs", it cheapens an otherwise great video.
My initial reaction: “what?! He can flatpick too?!” Myself, two seconds later: “yes, of course he can. He’s Nathaniel Murphy.”
wtf this piece has seen a LOTTT of milage. Who were the previous owners?
Does prs have a truth social account? That's where arguments like this belong...
